BESS receives a Commendation Award in the ‘Smart City Achievement of the year’ category of the 2018 MAV Technology Awards for Excellence.
The MAV Technology Awards for Excellence recognises outstanding efforts in the use of technology to improve service delivery and efficiency to local government organisations or communities.
Amongst the Victorian finalists of the ‘Smart City Achievement of the year’ category, CASBE’s Built Environment Sustainability Scorecard (BESS) received a ‘highly commended’ for its’ exceptional and continued contribution to ESD. BESS’s technical fit-for-purpose, web enabled approach facilitates a consistent process for applicants submitting ESD information at the planning stage. Furthermore the BESS tool can be used for all sizes of residential, non-residential and mixed use developments.
