The MAVlab Innovation Awards are back, to spotlight the bold ideas, imaginative minds, and everyday breakthroughs shaping the future of local government in Victoria. 

Victorian councils are invited to showcase the bold ideas and practical innovations shaping the future of local government. Nominations are now open and close on June 24!  

Innovation in local government takes courage. It takes vision. And it takes persistence. These awards are about recognising those who rise to the challenge. We see you! 

As a Community partner, we’re especially excited to see the inspiring work climate action and resilience and invite you to nominate the great work you are doing in the following categories:  

• The Horizon Award for Future Climate Leadership and Action   

• The Thriving Places Award for Design and Planning Excellence
